To conclude the Take Back the Night event, attendees gathered into prayer circles to pray for those victimized by sexual assault.

Campbellsville University students, faculty and staff gathered at the Student Activities Center (SAC) on Thursday, April 4, for the Take Back the Night event to spread awareness about sexual assault. Student Patricia Loka shared stories of what she has seen in her home country of Democratic Republic of Congo. Loka compared the events at home to what she has seen here and emphasized there’s a need for change everywhere.

Paula Fernandez came to Campbellsville in the fall of 2022, and is currently a sophomore, studying psychology with a minor in criminal justice.

The renovation included new tile, a new menu screen, an extended counter with two more servers and more menu options such as mac ‘n cheese, which is going to be added this September.

The newly-renovated Chick-Fil-A officially opened to the public on Wednesday, March 6. Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Crave, located at 605 South Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville, is in its soft opening phase, and is planning a grand opening sometime in April.

Crave, a new business owned by Heather and Tyler Cook, will be serving rolled ice cream to customers, tentatively beginning in April.

Shane Bradford found a beautiful sunflower-filled field where he felt was a more than necessary place to exploit his gifts.

Josiah Malachi Kilman (center) was a freshman at CU. He was discovered unresponsive in his dorm room in the early morning hours on Saturday, Feb. 24. A fellow CU classmate and wrestling teammate, Charles E. Escalera, has been charged with Kilman’s murder.
