Campbellsville University will welcome friends and alumni back on Saturday, Oct. 4, for Homecoming 2025 with the theme of “Maroon Rhapsody.”
“We love seeing alumni walk back onto campus, share stories with classmates and create new memories alongside today’s students,” Ashley Fox, director of alumni relations, said. “Homecoming truly bridges the past and the present.”
Festivities leading up to Homecoming begin Thursday, Oct. 2, with the Class of 1965 Reunion in the Betty Dobbins Heilman House (President’s Home). Members of CU’s Class of 1965 are invited at no charge to attend this lunch in their honor. Alumni from previous classes are invited to attend as well.
On Friday, Oct. 3, CU will induct members of the Class of 1975 into the Golden Heritage Club at a reunion, lunch and induction ceremony in the E. Bruce Heilman Welcome Center. The Golden Heritage Club is for alumni who graduated from CU 50 or more years ago. Cost is $20 each or $35 per couple. There is no charge for the Class of 1975 members and their guests.

CU will also hold its annual Alumni Reception and Awards Ceremony on Friday, Oct. 3, in the Heilman Welcome Center. Tickets are $20 each or $25 to include a ticket to CU’s Theatre 8 p.m. production of “Ordinary Days,” a contemporary piece that follows four young New Yorkers whose lives intersect as they navigate love, loss, and the search for meaning in New York City.
On Homecoming Day, Saturday, Oct. 4, CU has a full slate of events on the schedule, including the crowd-favorite Homecoming Parade beginning at 10:30 a.m. and the Homecoming Football Game between Fighting Tiger football and the University of the Cumberlands Patriots. Kickoff is at 2:01 p.m. at Finley Stadium, with the special kickoff time paying honor to the legacy of the late legendary Tiger Football Coach Ron Finley.
This year’s Homecoming Parade will begin at Ransdell Chapel and march down Hoskins Avenue.

- Lunch on Stapp Lawn, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Class of 2000 Reunion, 1:30 p.m., Finley Stadium
- University Theatre Production of “Ordinary Days,” 7 p.m. at the Russ Mobley Theater and 8 p.m. at the Theater Arts Studio (307 N. Court Street.
