The Campus Times is the official newspaper of Campbellsville University.

The purpose of The Campus Times is to provide news and information that will educate and entertain its readers, specifically the students, staff and alumni of Campbellsville University.

We want to be the voice for students, staff and the community, as well as promote events, recognize achievements and present information in a fair and accurate manner.

We aspire to be a trusted source of information that is helpful and beneficial to our readers.

All students enrolled at Campbellsville University are invited to be involved with The Campus Times.

The adviser of The Campus Times is Stevie Lowery, instructor of journalism, at Campbellsville University. She will serve as liaison of the student group. After working as a reporter, news editor, editor and publisher of a newspaper for 20 years, she is very knowledgeable about what it takes to produce a newspaper. She will support the mission and purpose of The Campus Times, while adhering to the peer group policies and guidelines. She will help guide the student-led staff of The Campus Times in the process of decision-making, planning and organizing meetings and events. She will approve and monitor any expenditures, and ensure practices comply with state, federal and university policies. She will be present at all meetings, gatherings and/or events, which will be held at the Mass Communication Center.

The Campus Times is affiliated with the Kentucky Press Association, Kentucky High School Journalism Association and the Kentucky Intercollegiate Press Association.
