Samuel Larson was named as the Champion of Character recipient for Campbellsville's men's cross-country team. "It's obviously a great honor to be nominated and given those awards," Larson said.

The Old Rosery Hospital, built in the 1960s, once served as a Catholic hospital on the site of what is now the Gosser Fine Arts Center at Campbellsville University.

Campbellsville University senior Jay Sipes said if he had to go into conflict, it would be worth it to protect those he loves. "I know deep down, if I'm deployed, it's because I'm defending my country," he said. "I'm defending the people I love. I'm defending my family. And so, if that's what it takes for my family to be safe, then I'm OK with that."
