Campbellsville University dedicated a flag on Sept. 11 to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Local first responders and members of the CU administration were among those in attendance.

The dream lives
Alfonso Alvarez moved to Campbellsville in 2022 to become the head coach of the men’s volleyball team. “I was not sure that I wanted to work here,” he said. “I had a lot of questions. I wasn’t convinced I wanted to live in Kentucky, and I had a lot of doubts. But when I arrived on campus, the Lord gave me this peace that can only come from Him.”
