Josie Benningfield
Josie Benningfield was born and raised in Lebanon, Kentucky. As a kid, she dreamed of being a novelist–her love of writing has persisted to this day, and she has since gained experience in journalism due to a recent 10-week summer internship at the LaRue County Herald News.
Initially an English major at the University of Louisville, Benningfield switched to mass communication upon transferring to Campbellsville University in 2022, and is on track to graduate in December 2024. Thanks to her time at Campbellsville, she has gained experience in writing for print and broadcast, public relations, video editing and many other multimedia areas.
Benningfield spends the majority of her free time reading, writing and watching different types of media, but she also has a fondness for listening to music wherever she goes. When she’s not holed up in her room watching true crime documentaries, romantic comedies or playing video games, she’s spending quality time with her family and friends.
