Campbellsville University’s accreditation is reaffirmed

Chloe Howard, 20, might be a familiar face to many students and faculty at Campbellsville University. She works at Starbucks, and is currently saving money so she can continue her education at CU.
From setbacks to new beginnings
Ihssane Damoh, a Muslim student who came to CU for academic reasons, said the university has made efforts to create space for diverse religious identities even though the Muslim community here is a minority. “The Bridge to Success house made special arrangements for us during Ramadan—a sacred month where we fast from sunrise to sunset. They provided us with a schedule that allowed us access to our own space to cook and prepare meals after breaking our fast. This thoughtful accommodation ensured we could observe our religious practices comfortably, and it really highlighted how the university is willing to go the extra mile to support students of all backgrounds.”

Logan Washburn

Logan Washburn is a senior at Campbellsville University, majoring in mass communication.
Originally from Bardstown, Kentucky, Washburn has a strong passion for media and storytelling.
As a sports information assistant, he covers athletic events and enhances the university’s sports media presence.
Outside the classroom and office, Washburn enjoys tennis, videography and photography, combining his love for sports and creative media.
This is his first year contributing to The Campus Times.
