Malachi Kapenga is a freshman from Hamilton, Michigan. He’s majoring in mass communication.

He’s a member of the men’s wrestling team and plans to wrestle in the 141-pound weight class. He also works at a golf course back home.

Outside of wrestling, Kapenga’s biggest passion is whitetail deer hunting. But, the most important thing in his life is his relationship with God.

He has four younger siblings, a dog, a cat, and a very large extended family. Spending time with his family is very important to him. He also really enjoys watching Detroit, and University of Michigan sports. He loves listening to podcasts, especially ones that are sports, wrestling, or hunting related. His favorite sport to watch is professional motocross/supercross (professional dirt bike racing), and he enjoys riding his dirt bike back home. Kapenga also enjoys playing video games, watching movies and TV shows.
