The 2024 Campbellsville University Homecoming has been in preparation for more than a year. Student Activities Director Kylee Miller said there are a lot of peripheral types of planning as well as narrowing down dates and times throughout the entire summer that all gointo the homecoming planning process.
“We started meeting about homecoming the week after homecoming last year,” Miller said. “We would talk about what we want tochange, what went well, what can we add, what doesn’t make sense and we’d check in periodically through the summer.”
Director of Alumni Relations Ashley Fox said students are also allowed to give their input and suggestions on what the homecoming themeshould be. This year’s theme is “Tiger Tales and Trail.”
According to Shelby Bollinger, who oversees the homecoming king and queen nomination process, a person must be nominated by their organization or club.
“We can have people from TSA, FCA, or people from campus ministries,” Bollinger said, “As long as the organization is okay with sponsoring them, they can be on the court.”
For more information on the nomination process, contact Bollinger at [email protected].
