Nature’s gift
Aerial McKinnon, co-owner of Tuscan Hills Coffee Company, said it’s always been her dream to open a coffee shop. Tuscan Hills Coffee Company is located on 200 Lebanon Avenue and is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Coffee: The grounds for community
Campbellsville University students, faculty and staff gathered at the Student Activities Center (SAC) on Thursday, April 4, for the Take Back the Night event to spread awareness about sexual assault. Student Patricia Loka shared stories of what she has seen in her home country of Democratic Republic of Congo. Loka compared the events at home to what she has seen here and emphasized there’s a need for change everywhere.
Safety is ‘top priority’
Ian Lopez rides his scooter across campus. He mainly uses this $250 investment to travel to the mass communication building and to events he works on campus. “I just scoot around,” Lopez said. “That’s the way I get around.”

Josiah Malachi Kilman (center) was a freshman at CU. He was discovered unresponsive in his dorm room in the early morning hours on Saturday, Feb. 24. A fellow CU classmate and wrestling teammate, Charles E. Escalera, has been charged with Kilman's murder.

The definition of a glow stick
The Mass Communication Center officially opened in 2021. The unique thing about this facility is that it's not just classrooms and labs, it also houses a fully functioning television station and FM radio station, which are on the air 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
